The original release of AggreData didn't correct for users who had their CT's flipped in a panel (where as the 5K firmware does). We have a couple of fixes we have rolled out over the past few weeks to address that (the latest had to do w/ fixing that value for cost).

Still here!  I'm looking into why mtu2 is showing up as negative. Both are set up as "Load" in the system last time I checked the profile. I'm checking to see if this is a holdover of data since our 'absolute value' fix at the beginning of the month.  How have your recent day history's looked?

I would have been inclined to agree about the the time stamp, but it would appear even over a 24 hour span the data is quite a bit different. any ideas? I could export minute data for some period from both sources and compare?

Thanks. How do the daily numbers match up on the more recent data? (or the sum of several hours). With your values being so low, I'm wondering if its just a timestamping difference from when the data is recorded vs transmitted.

The negative readings would have been fixed with the build that went up earlier this week(all of your values show positive now). Both of your MTU types are showing up in our system as "LOAD" so that would indicate CT's may be flipped in the panel (not a big deal, we added code to AggreData to handle that).

Your AggreData graph for 6/24 looks like your TED5000 wasn't able to connect to the service for a while (flat bars w/ the same value on it). Are you still seeing those or are the more recent numbers matching closer to what you have in your gateway? How do the daily numbers match up? Can you check your stats page and let me know what the "Attemps", "Success", and "Results" values are?

here is the data again, MTU2 is the blue MTU1 is the green, how do you graph just one of them? as far as the gateway ID, it crashed some time ago, reset it to defaults and that is what I get all zeros, is there more than just the button on the side for defaulting the gateway? if so I will submit a ticket. however the data seems correct on the TED web page and I was getting correct data with google power meter.

AggreData is not graphing individual MTU's, its graphing the household net (so its combining the MTU values into a single graph).  It looks like your graph options are not set up to show the net. To enable that, click the checkbox next to "Current kWh" on your System Settings Wizard->Footprint Settings tab. The new bar would be the "NET" bar and that is the value that AggreData should be graphing.

Adding individual MTU graphing and grouping is on our to-do list for AggreData but right now the focus is on combining and graphing and grouping multiple gateways (households, locations) together.

Guess I did not wait long enough.  Went out and when I came back the front LED is green and there is some network activity.  Ran the setup program and it found TED at two different IP addresses which seems strange.  Shows it at and at, both show a MAC address of 00-25-2f-21-00-01.

I get no response from the first IP address, the second one just returns the following string in IE9:

 (3,0)~ ~powerpeakmtddate(3,

Now what do I do?

It appears that it took a little bit of time for your TED to get an IP address from your DHCP server. The .7.2 is the default address of the device that it has prior to getting a DHCP lease, so if it the installer was running before and after the lease was assigned, you would see both.

However, the second issue looks like your Footprints file may be corrupted. Please fill out a support ticket at

Since upgrading to this version (R499/R281), I've noticed that my "Low Voltage Today" and "High Voltage Today" are much lower than expected.  Present Voltage values on the dashboard are right where I expect them - right around 119 or 120 Volts consistently.  I also checked the Voltage history on the graph and it shows very little variation throughout the day.

However, Low Voltage Today is showing values in the 30-40V range, and High Voltage Today is showing values in the 40 - 50V range.  Also, I setup an email trigger via the TED Advisor on voltage drops to I could be notified of brownouts/blackouts if Voltage drops below 110V, and I'm getting emails once per hour indicating voltage drops in the 30 - 50V range since I upgraded. 

I've reset the TED Advisor to be notified when it drops below 30V to avoid this, and am now getting notifications like this:
"TED Advisor: Your voltage has dropped below 30.0 volts. It is now 39.90 volts."

Prior to upgrading to this version, I had no issues with the Voltage values - they appeared in the expected range.  I've restarted the device several times and it has no impact.  Also Reset totals to zero and it had no effect.  Any thoughts?

Please check your System Settings to make sure the MTU Connection type on the "System Layout" tab matches your physical installation (e.g. 2 wire vs 3 wire connection). Other than that, you may want to try a "Reset to Factory Defaults" to see if that clears up the issue.

it would appear that the scaling is incorrect on my data, this is all consumption I do not sell back to my utility. any thoughts? does anyone else have this issue?

 One thing I do see is that your gateway has an ID of 000000 which we'll need to get reset. If you don't mind, please fill out a support ticket so one of our techs can work with you to change that on your gateway. After that, you'll either need to re-activate your gateway or PM me your new gateway id and I'll update your data. We have identified a possible bug w/ the solar net calculations on aggredata and will be doing an aggredata update this week (you won't need to re-activate to see that, just to fix the 000000 gateway id). 

Also, your second image was just of MTU1 where the AggreData screenshot is the net total of all your MTU's. Can you let me know what the net 2pm value on the TED5000 was for that timeframe?

Please try switching your primary DNS to to see if that works. Also, what version of the firmware are you using?

Can you send a screenshot of the network settings error?  The latest firmware doesn't have an error message like that so I'm wondering if it came from somewhere else. You shouldn't need to make any router changes to access AggreData other than making sure you don't have any rules that would block devices from accessing the internet (e.g some routers you have to add a device's MAC address before it will allow it out). If your TED5k is able to access other network services (NTP, weather, etc) you should be fine.  Otherwise, the only thing I recommend is trying a different DNS server (I use which is a Google Open DNS server).

We are pleased to announce a limited beta trial of TED AggreData. For the first beta, we will be accepting a limited number users to sign up via the "Join" link on the login page. After joining, users will be directed to an instructional page on how to add their TED5000's to the system.

We recommend upgrading to the latest beta of the TED5000 Firmware  to make use of the additional costing features. However, it is not required.

AggreData is an open source web application that allows TED5000 to use the built in Third Party Post feature to upload their usage stats to the web. In addition, for users with more than one TED5000, it allows the data to be aggregated together to provide a combined view of the data. Furthermore, it allows these TED5000's to be grouped together and optionally shared with other users signed into the system.

Please limit any replies to this thread to the AggreData Beta only. All other AggreData questions or comments can be posted to the main AggreData thread:,411.0.html
